Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs lost against Riverside back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Boiling Springs Bulldogs took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Warriors.

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Riverside, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boiling Springs will square off against James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in James F. Byrnes' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Riverside, they and Eastside will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
