Softball Recap: Scurry-Rosser Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Scurry-Rosser and Palmer meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 12-2. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Scurry-Rosser has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Palmer, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13-1 record this season.

While Scurry-Rosser had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
