Annalee Aguilar made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Livingston got a massive performance out of Isabella Zazueta, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Zazueta a new career-high. Alexis Ross was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
Livingston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to Beyer. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Patriots since April 4, 2022.
Sasha Siemiller and Isabella Chavez did some serious damage despite the final result: Siemiller went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Chavez scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Livingston pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pacheco, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Pacheco's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Livingston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .372.
