Football Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Green Level had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it five. They were outmatched by the Jordan Falcons and fell 48-0. The Gators lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in March of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 21-13 score last time.

Chase Meyers threw for 38 yards on nine of 32 attempts. On the ground, Luke Pagan rushed for 45 yards.

As for Jordan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average this season.

Damien Hayes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 135 yards and three scores on only 12 carries, while also catching one TD. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Melton, who threw for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Green Level wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 44-22 defeat against Green Hope on the 30th. As for Jordan, they have also already played their next contest, a 43-3 victory against Willow Spring on the 30th.
