Marcellus waltzed into their contest on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. Everything went their way against the Holland Patent Golden Knights as they made off with a 30-3 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kendall LaManche was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Chloe Kuttruff was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jordan O'Connor, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with five runs and one RBI.
