Basketball Game Preview: Grandview Zebras vs. Marlin Bulldogs

The Grandview Zebras and the Marlin Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Grandview didn't have quite enough to beat Robinson and fell 49-46. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Marlin came tearing into last Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Ducks with points to spare, taking the game 61-45. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Ducks are ranked 786th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Marlin, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
