Soccer Game Preview: Warden vs. White Swan

Warden will square off against White Swan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Warden has three straight wins, White Swan has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Warden will bounce into Friday's match after beating Naches Valley, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Cougars blew past the Rangers 5-1 on Tuesday. Warden might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, White Swan fell victim to Connell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 26-0. While losing is never fun, White Swan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Connell are ranked 95th).

White Swan's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Warden, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
