Basketball Game Preview: Alamogordo Tigers vs. Clovis Wildcats

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Alamogordo Tigers duke it out with the Clovis Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Alamogordo came up short against Los Lunas and fell 55-47. Alamogordo hasn't had much luck with Los Lunas recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Clovis came up short against La Cueva on Tuesday, falling 95-69.

Clovis' loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-8. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Alamogordo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
