Volleyball Game Preview: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Decatur Bulldogs

The Dunwoody Wildcats will take on the Decatur Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Dunwoody came up short against Milton and fell 3-1. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dunwoody started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Despite their defeat, Dunwoody saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Simone Stroe, who had 18 digs and four assists, was perhaps the best of all.

Meanwhile, Decatur didn't have quite enough to beat Lakeside on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Decatur sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 15-12.

Dunwoody's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Decatur, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
