Lincoln is 5-0 against Wheatland since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lincoln Fighting Zebras will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wheatland Pirates at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Lincoln's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Wheatland has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Lincoln is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since December 20, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Bear River by a score of 61-58. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Fighting Zebras came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Bruins are ranked 712th).

Meanwhile, Wheatland came up short against Mira Loma on Wednesday, falling 70-47.

Wheatland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Lincoln, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.
