Basketball Recap: Gilbert Christian Drops Season-High Score on Apache Junction

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilbert Christian). They breezed by the Apache Junction Prospectors to the tune of 70-19 on Wednesday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Prospectors are ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gilbert Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tylee Fox led the charge by going 6 for 12 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaila Aston, who went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.
