Football Recap: Lufkin Piles Up the Points Against Ball

Lufkin won the last time they faced Ball and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers breezed past the Tornadoes to the tune of 52-14. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lufkin and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points over those games. As for Ball, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Lufkin will take on Westbury at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Ball does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
