The Ocosta Wildcats will face off against the Ilwaco Fishermen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Ocosta has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Ilwaco will arrive with seven straight wins.

On Friday, Ocosta didn't have quite enough to beat Wahkiakum and fell 5-4.

Ilwaco pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ocosta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
