Recap: Patriot Warriors vs. La Sierra Eagles
The Patriot Warriors won the last time they faced the La Sierra Eagles, and things went their way on Thursday too. Patriot blew past La Sierra 49-14 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
Patriot was led to victory by Josiah Felix and Isaiah Miramontes. Felix gained 210 total yards and three touchdowns, while Miramontes rushed for 71 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries.
When it comes to explaining why La Sierra lost, one person who can't be blamed is CJ Fleming. Despite the final result, he picked up 229 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Eddie Roy, who threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns.
Patriot's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for La Sierra, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Patriot will head out on the road to face off against Los Altos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Altos is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. La Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
