Basketball Recap: Plymouth Skates Past Knox with Ease

Plymouth won the last time they faced Knox and things went their way on Friday too. The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies claimed a resounding 64-29 win over the Knox Redskins. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Pilgrims/Rockies this season.

Plymouth had a senior duo take command as Trenton Van Duyne posted 14 points and three steals and Preston Wolfe went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points. Those three steals gave Van Duyne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Delp, who had six points.

Plymouth's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Knox, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Plymouth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-35 win against New Prairie on the 28th. As for Knox, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-25 loss against Lewis Cass on the 28th.
