Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. University Wildcats

The Kennedy Cougars will face off against the University Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Kennedy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Grant 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kennedy took Grant into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-21, 16-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, University sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Marshall on Tuesday.

Kennedy's record is now 31-9. As for University, their record now sits at 20-6.

Kennedy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to University when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
