Soccer Recap: The Covenant's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

The Covenant lost against Collegiate back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Covenant fell just short of Collegiate by a score of 1-0. The loss was The Covenant's first of the season.

The Covenant was without their leading scorer, Kylie Hargrove, in Tuesday's matchup. With Hargrove sidelined, Addi Taylor got her first action of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, The Covenant fell to 3-1-1. As for Collegiate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, The Covenant will host Oakcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Collegiate, they will head out to square off against Norfolk Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Collegiate will need to watch out since Norfolk Academy has now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
