Basketball Recap: McNary Takes a Loss

McNary lost against Sheldon back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The McNary Celtics fell 57-49 to the Sheldon Irish.

McNary's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sheldon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McNary will face off against Newberg at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Newberg will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something McNary surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sheldon, they will venture away from home to take on St. Mary's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheldon is facing St. Mary's Academy at the right time seeing as St. Mary's Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
