Baseball Recap: Olive Branch Takes a Loss

Olive Branch fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Memphis Home Education Association on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Memphis Home Education Association by a score of 9-7. The Conquistadors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Olive Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Memphis Home Education Association, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will welcome Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grenada's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Olive Branch's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Munford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
