Soccer Game Preview: Spanish River vs. Martin County

The Spanish River Sharks will challenge the Martin County Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Martin County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Spanish River, who comes in off a win.

Spanish River got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Park Vista on Friday. The result kept the Sharks happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Martin County challenged Olympic Heights on Wednesday. Martin County fell just short of Olympic Heights by a score of 2-1.

Martin County's goal came courtesy of Delaney Gribben, which was the first she's scored this season.

Martin County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5-1 record this season. As for Spanish River, their win bumped their record up to 8-1-3.
