Recap: Brown County Eagles vs. Cascade Cadets
The Brown County Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They lost to Cascade at home by a decisive 59-44 margin. Brown County has struggled against Cascade recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Cascade got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liviair Campbell out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Chloe Smith was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Brown County's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-10. As for Cascade, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
Brown County and North Putnam will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully North Putnam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday. As for Cascade, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bethesda Christian at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Bethesda Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
