Basketball Recap: Mia Price Key Part of a Team Effort in Predators Win

There's no place like home for Fox Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 36-26 victory over the Silver Bluff Bulldogs on Tuesday. For the Predators, this counts as revenge for the 67-15 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Fox Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mia Price led the charge by putting up 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jada Jennings, who posted nine points.

Fox Creek's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-12. As for Silver Bluff, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Newberry the next time they take the court. Silver Bluff will head out to face Newberry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Fox Creek will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
