With a playoff win on the line, Palmetto rose to the challenge on Thursday. They snuck past the South Dade Buccaneers with a 42-36 victory. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won nine in a row.

It was another big night for Alessandra Falcon, who went 9 for 14 on her way to 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
