Soccer Recap: Johnston Has No Trouble Against Hope

After failing to score in their last matchup, Johnston made sure to put some goals up on the board against Hope on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over the Blue Wave. It was an even better day for Darrell Acosta Sanchez as he scored three goals for his team.

Johnston's win bumped their record up to 11-5-2. As for Hope, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11-3.

Looking ahead, Johnston will be playing at home against Block Island at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnston will be up against Block Island's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.08 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
