Volleyball Recap: South Takes a Loss

South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Peninsula Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

South took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 29-27.

South's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Peninsula, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.

Looking ahead, South will welcome West Ranch at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peninsula, they will be taking part in a tournament against Woodbridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
