Masterman proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 19) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Carver High School of Engineering & Science 4-2. For Masterman, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win Carver High School of Engineering & Science walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Daniel Carrera was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Masterman's record now sits at 2-0. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Masterman will take on rival Franklin Towne at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carver High School of Engineering & Science is set to challenge their familiar foe Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
