Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockdale County). They enjoyed a cozy 62-44 win over the Arabia Mountain Rams on Friday. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 52-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.

Rockdale County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamarion Davis, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Donovan Bish was another key player, putting up six points along with seven steals and three blocks.

Rockdale County was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Rockdale County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Arabia Mountain, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Rockdale County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-69 victory against Loganville on the 24th. As for Arabia Mountain, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
