Rich Township is a perfect 3-0 against Kankakee since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Raptors will venture away from home to take on the Kays at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rich Township took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Crete-Monee by a score of 2-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raptors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rich Township was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Kankakee beat Thornridge 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kays.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Kankakee's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Rich Township, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-13.

Rich Township beat Kankakee 2-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raptors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
