Basketball Recap: Mansfield Legacy Takes a Loss

Mansfield Legacy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mansfield Tigers, falling 65-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 65-58 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Mansfield Legacy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Mansfield, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Mansfield Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 84-61 loss against Crowley on the 11th. As for Mansfield, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mansfield Tigers face off against the North Crowley Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th. One thing working in Mansfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
