Northampton County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were beaten by the Tarboro Vikings 49-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Tarboro, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.6 points on average over those games.

Tarboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caiden Everette out in front who picked up 54 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in a pair of touchdowns on the ground.incredibly, Everette got all that yardage with just one huge grab Kamerin McDowell-Moore was another key rusher, rushing for 65 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries.
