Volleyball Game Preview: Wayne Warriors vs. Centerville Elks

Wayne is 0-8 against Centerville since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Elks at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wayne is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Beavercreek, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Fairmont.

While Centerville ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Centerville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
