Gavin Gibson has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy team this season and he led the team again on Tuesday. Gibson was dialed in as he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. He was dominant the last time he took on Thomas Jefferson back in February of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy is undefeated when Gibson posts three or more RBI, but 7-11 otherwise.

Gibson's strong effort led Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy over Thomas Jefferson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are 7-2 against Thomas Jefferson going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
