League recap: Eberly dominating on the mound for Manheim Central

Lancaster-Lebanon 3 league recap: 5/22/13

Lancaster-Lebanon 3's top pitcher this week was Manheim Central's Trey Eberly. He racked up five strike outs this week.

After a week in which it went 1-0, Lampeter-strasburg jumped from 1,997 to 1,813 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league. The Pioneers are currently sitting at No. 63 in the state of Pennsylvania, thanks to an overall record of 15-6.

Donegal's pitching staff was best in the league in terms of hits allowed, with just seven over the past week. The Indians have surrendered a mere 137 hits this season in 22 games.

The league boasted eight .400 hitters over the past week. Leading the pack was J.J. Sanchez, who hit 1.000 by going 3-for-3.



The Barons' Eberly led the league in strikeouts this week with five. He's fourth in the league with 41 total strikeouts.
