Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Guntersville walked away with it. They beat the East Limestone Indians on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 70-56. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five matches in a row.

Guntersville's victory bumped their record up to 23-9. As for East Limestone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-7.

Coming up, Guntersville will face off against Brewer on Tuesday. Guntersville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Brewer likes a good challenge. East Limestone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
