Football Recap: Paschal Skates Past North Side with Ease

Paschal got themselves on the board against North Side on Friday, but North Side never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 59-0 win over the Steers. The victory was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Paschal was led to victory by Truman Shelton and Jashaun Thomas. Shelton gained 184 total yards and four touchdowns, while Thomas threw for 127 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing yards Thomas has posted since back in October of 2024.

Paschal's run defense was locked in: North Side could only muster 0.3 yards per carry. While three picked up at least seven total tackles, Jackson Shepard stood above the rest. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). Paschal didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.8.

Paschal's record is now 3-0. As for North Side, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Paschal and North Side will both be playing South Hills the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Scorpions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Steers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
