Baseball Recap: Ridgeline's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

While Ridgeline put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for West Field. Ridgeline blew past West Field 11-0. The Riverhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Sam Swan was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Swan was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cooper Clark was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).

Ridgeline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Field only posted an OBP of .200.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Ridgeline, bringing their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for West Field, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Ridgeline will have a chance to go back-to-back against West Field: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
