Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

If Columbia was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Caldwell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Skyview Hawks on Tuesday, falling 20-4. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Brody Springer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Skyview, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Columbia nor Skyview have any future games scheduled.
