Volleyball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Has No Trouble Against Tunkhannock

Greater Nanticoke Area hadn't done well against Tunkhannock recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Trojans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

While Greater Nanticoke Area won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Jayden Wasielewski paced Greater Nanticoke Area's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wasielewski got some help from Brady Rushton and his 32 assists. Wasielewski was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The win made it two in a row for Greater Nanticoke Area and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Tunkhannock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
