Soccer Game Preview: New Berlin West vs. East Troy

The New Berlin West Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the East Troy Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Troy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on New Berlin West, who comes in off a win.

New Berlin West is coming into the match on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Milwaukee Hamilton. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but New Berlin West were the better team in the second half.

Aris Ziogas and Diego Guzman Segovia scored both of New Berlin West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, East Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Whitewater.

New Berlin West's win bumped their record up to 3-13-1. As for East Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went New Berlin West's way against East Troy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as New Berlin West made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
