Baseball Recap: Salome Takes a Loss

Salome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Antelope Rams, falling 18-9. If the Frogs were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Rams when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Salome's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Antelope, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-2.

Salome didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-12 defeat against Valley Lutheran on the 21st. As for Antelope, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Desert Heights Prep at 2:00 p.m. on the 28th.
