Lia Carter leads Jordan-Matthews to victory over Cummings

Recap: Jordan-Matthews Jets vs. Cummings Cavaliers

The Jordan-Matthews Jets lost to the Cummings Cavaliers back in January, but the Jordan-Matthews Jets didn't allow the Cummings Cavaliers the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Jordan-Matthews sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-37 victory over Cummings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jordan-Matthews.

Lia Carter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. Yamilet Lozano was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three steals.

Jordan-Matthews' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Cummings, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.

Jordan-Matthews is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Triton at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Cummings will be home for the holidays to greet Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williams presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cummings in North Carolina (Williams is ranked 178th, while Cummings is ranked 531st).
