It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Hunterdon Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Immaculata Spartans 8-7. The Red Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Hunterdon Central pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Immaculata, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.
