Recap: Tecumseh Braves vs. Pike Central Chargers

The Tecumseh Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 71-50 walloping at the hands of Pike Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tecumseh in their matchups with Pike Central: they've now lost four in a row.

Pike Central had a senior duo take command as Julian Gish scored 28 points along with five assists and four steals and Quade Morton dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gish has scored all season. Chase Ridao was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists.

Tecumseh has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Pike Central, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Tecumseh will be playing at home against Gibson Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tecumseh is on a five-game streak of home losses, Gibson Southern a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Pike Central is on the road again on Friday and plays Tell City at 8:00 p.m. on February 9th. Tell City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
