            The Rogers Pirates will square off against the Colbert County Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Rogers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so Colbert County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Rogers is probably headed into the  game with a chip on their shoulder considering Brooks just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Thursday. They took  a  9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.
 Rogers saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braden Taylor, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1. That  hit marked the first that  Taylor  got this season.
 Meanwhile, Colbert County came up short against  Red Bay on Monday, falling  9-2.
 Colbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
