It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Grand Prairie can now relate to. They fell just short of the Richardson Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Bradleigh Kitchin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. She also scored a run, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Huynh, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

South Grand Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9-1. As for Richardson, their record is now 12-15.

While South Grand Prairie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
