Basketball Game Preview: Snowflake Lobos vs. Show Low Cougars

Snowflake has won four straight games at home, while Show Low has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Snowflake Lobos will host the Show Low Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Snowflake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Show Low likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Snowflake strolled past Holbrook with points to spare, taking the game 64-46. Given the Lobos' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Roadrunners are ranked 75th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Show Low hadn't done well against Alchesay recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Show Low managed a 44-39 win over Alchesay.

Show Low has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Snowflake, their victory bumped their record up to 23-4.

Snowflake came up short against Show Low in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 56-46. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Show Low's Raquel Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Now that Snowflake knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
