Meanwhile, Ashley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Wilmington Christian Academy a 4-0 shutout.

The team relied heavily on Tanner Berry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Ashley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Ashley pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for South Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
