Baseball Recap: Lake Takes a Loss

Puckett hit Lake with a 15-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets came up short against the Wolves, falling 18-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Puckett, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Puckett has already played their next game (against Hebron Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake will be paying especially close attention to the Wolves' contest: after the Wolves face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Lake again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
