Basketball Recap: Bob Jones Find Success

While Bob Jones didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Florence Falcons with a 64-59 win on Tuesday. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 50-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bob Jones' victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Florence, they moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Bob Jones will head out on the road to challenge Madison Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bob Jones surely won't give up without a fight. As for Florence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest Rankin on Saturday. One thing working in Florence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
