Basketball Game Preview: Benton Panthers vs. Lake Hamilton Wolves

The Benton Panthers will head out to challenge the Lake Hamilton Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Benton is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lakeside just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 54-51. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Rams since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Lake Hamilton came out on top. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over White Hall on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Lake Hamilton's record is now 18-10. As for Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

Benton came up short against Lake Hamilton in their previous matchup back in January, falling 48-44. Can Benton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
